Dustin and John

Winter 2013 – Philadelphia Wedding

Dustin and John’s Save-the-Date (with an amazing layout, designed by the Bride and her friend) set the tone for what would be a SPECTACULAR, UNBELIEVABLY FUN wedding day!! The post-card began as follows..”Two Maryland Natives met at a bowling alley in Philadelphia. The Ravens had just lost a playoff game, but brooding John impressed Dustin. The following day Dustin went on a mission to win John’s heart….” After many amazing dates, a lot of purple wearing & hip-hop playing good times, a pizza parlor and a proposal, Dustin said YES! and the Couple decided to get hitched back where it all began…..

Dustin and John’s Wedding Day started out with the Bride and her dearest friends and family getting ready at the Sheraton Society Hill Hotel and the Groom did just the same  in a location nearby  ……

The Bride emerges and she is so stunning!…

The Groom and his good friends getting ready….

The ladies walked outside and traffic stopped for a nice moment, allowing us to photograph directly on 2nd Street! We took a quick bus ride (and a brief stint in a Whole Foods Market hahahha!) over to  Magic Gardens for a few more shots! It was the best adventure and what a spectacular place to visit for the great mosaic walls alone. Dustin and the ladies looked so great!

Before the ladies arrived at Magic Gardens, Nick traveled with the men to take some shots! Their adventure allowed for just enough time to pop into the nearby record store!

And the party is off (in separate rides) to St. Philip Neri, a beautiful local church with an amazing white marble alter. The light was just beaming inside as Mr.T and Dustin walked down the aisle, and the best part was the I Do’s!! (And watching Dustin’s nephew carry the here come’s your girl sign down the aisle with his mom).

Following the Ceremony the Bride and Groom surprised Ms. Pam & Mr. T (the Bride’s AWESOME Parents) with a Champagne toast in the nearby park to celebrate their upcoming Anniversary, Congratulations!

The Couple made a brief get-away in Mr. T’s awesome car, however we quickly re-joined forces, taking the yellow school bus to a truly epic destination: The Benjamin Franklin Bridge at sunset.

And we are off, final Stop, North Bowl, the very site where the happy, newly married Couple first met! So awesome! Cake, dancing, beautiful speeches, and games followed, along with another truly epic moment of dancing to the Wu-Tang Clan!

Cheers to D & J!!! Their amazing nuptials night ended with bubble gum favors in bowling inspired bottles, and a very fun image dreamed up by the Bride (pictured above). A big thank you goes out to John and Dustin, as well as their lovely families for allowing us to be a part of their truly epic celebration.

This past weekend Nick & I had the amazing opportunity to photograph Dustin & John as they said “I Do,” in Downtown Philadelphia. Enclosed is a sneak peak from their Beautiful Winter Wedding. There will be much more to come very soon!

Fall 2012 – Maryland Engagement Session

Congratulations to Jaime and Steve! This vivacious pair is planning a Summer Wedding. On a recent fall afternoon we ventured out to Jerusalem Mill Village in Gunpowder Falls State Park, a great local spot with a bright red barn and a stone mill. Jaime found the authentic location and she brought along amazing props. We shot in the hour before sunset as jewel tones swept across the high grass and leaves plummeted through the skyline expelling vibrant red and yellow hues. Jaime and Steve are inspiring, in love, and full of energy! Even the Couples sweet pup posed for a picture! Thank you both tremendously. Happy Fall, Happy Winter!

Summer 2012 – Maryland Wedding & Engagement Session

Exchanging vows beneath the glow of stained glass windows, Jamie  & Phil were married in Westminster, Maryland on a bright June afternoon. Their Ceremony ended with an amazing musical performance and a truly epic kiss!! Following a parade of bubbles & cheers, the Couple whisked away in a 1930’s vintage car  with a “Just Married” sign in tow. Moments later they arrived at the Bride’s Grandmother’s Estate, where they would dine, dance & celebrate. Friends and Family sipped on colorful drinks from a vintage bathtub, and dined on a seasonal summer salad, fresh salmon, and white cake. As the music transitioned from a 3 piece instrumental sound to to the Couple’s favorite I-Pod tunes, beach balls flew across the dance floor. The party was filled with laughter and energy, and it continued into the night. Below are a few selects from Jamie & Phil’s amazing Wedding Day:

Just Weeks Before Jamie & Phil’s Wedding

We traveled to a nearby Farm Museum located in Westminster, Maryland. We had so much fun shooting! Phil is an exceptional climber, and Jamie had an amazing grace with the horses, having grown up riding. The Farm Museum was a magical place, filled with beautiful sunlight. We shot until dark, and I must say it was a great way to spend an evening!
